Springboard/Props and Sculpt
Extension of the matwork adding resistance training and using rollers, balls, magic circles, elastic and small weights. Great for upper-body and lower body strength and developing muscle definition.
Highly popular piece of equipment. The Reformer works to strengthen and correct posture of the legs and butt and helps to realign the torso and increase strength in the upper body among many other benefits. It produces visible results within a dozen regular sessions helping to achieve toned arms and legs and defining firmer abdominal muscles. The Reformer is large enough to accommodate a full-range of motion and provides resistance, which is wonderful for increasing flexibility while building strength.
The Chair is the most challenging piece of equipment in the Pilates repertoire. It offers a great workout that challenges the core balance while providing a great upper and lower body workout as well. It works spinal flexion, extension, and side bending through the many different stretching positions, and improves balance whether sitting, standing, or lying on the chair. The chair is excellent for strength and stability, and is a great workout for both women and men.
Mixed Apparatus classes
Mixed apparatus means it will be a different workout every time and allows you to try out the various pieces of Pilates equipment.
